Continuing Education Credits

The resources provided are in compliance with the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as it relates to services provided for living donors and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) and the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) guidelines.

Any certificates of completion will automatically populate and can then be found in My Courses under the completed tab.

NURSES

Nursing contact hours, co-provided by Terri Goodman & Associates, are valid nationwide and accepted by nursing professional organizations in many foreign countries. One contact hour of continuing education credit will be awarded to nurses upon completion of the live webinar only. Terri Goodman & Associates is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

SOCIAL WORKERS

Social workers can earn one contact hour of continuing education credit from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners by completing either the live or recorded webinar. The ILDAN™ program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #886638759-2175) for one Social Work continuing education contact hour per live or recorded webinar.

PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS

Professional counselors can earn one contact hour of continuing education credit from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors by completing either the live or recorded webinar.

PSYCHOLOGISTS

The Living Bank is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Living Bank maintains responsibility for the selected programs and their content. Currently four recorded webinars, one credit hour each, will become available to psychologists for continuing education credit. Details forthcoming.
